You will bring a strategic approach to earning new business and re-connecting with past customers in Southern California, promoting rental and sales of shoring equipment and solutions for the construction industry. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.

Note: We do a good deal of work at chemical plants, military bases, prison grounds, and other secure government locations. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales, you will bring in new business and transition those accounts to branch sales operations for servicing. We'll provide leads, including targeted companies and past customers with whom we haven't done business in some time. Your mission will be to cold call, get in the door and in front of decision-makers, and present our company story and value proposition. The branch sales team will then follow up with details about specific services and solutions. 

In addition, you will collaborate with other company leaders to develop and maintain a select group of identified accounts. You'll build relationships with principle members of those organizations to secure the company's current business or develop greater business level with them.

More specifically, you will:
  • Cold call for new business.
  • Build a pipeline of potential opportunities.
  • Provide updates to existing customers on Trench Plate Rental Co.'s product modifications, changes, and enhancements.
  • Leverage marketing data to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of sales calls and promotions.
  • Prepare reports for sales and maintain expense accounts.
