You'll spend the majority of your time prospecting for new business and building relationships with contractors. Outstanding training
To get up to speed you'll work with the Regional Sales Manager, General Manager and various salespeople so that you can learn the product line, go to sales calls, and see how we do things. We'll make sure you have the tools you need to succeed -- you just need the drive to get out in the field every day and leverage those tools for success.

Autonomy and support
Support doesn't stop after the training period. You'll have new product training and an experienced supervisor to help. In other words, you'll have support when you need it and "elbow room" when you don't.

Team-based success
Ours is a unique approach to driving business. Each sales team member is responsible for their territory, but we achieve success as a team. We support one another, strive to reach team goals, and help each other's clients to ensure success. Tired of dog-eat-dog, cut-throat sales? You are going to love our collaborative, upbeat atmosphere!

Drive your career
This is an opportunity to decide your own destiny. We work in a multi-billion dollar industry, have strong products, a respected name, and a goal of tremendous expansion. While you could be happy in this sales role for years, if you have the runway and desire, and you prove yourself, you could pursue a Branch or Regional Manager position.

Under the leadership of a seasoned senior management team, we have achieved a record of financial stability, consistent growth, and business success.

Service

Our top salespeople are tremendous relationship builders and take a consultative approach to their customers. They are reliable, honest, available, snd persistent, and have strong follow-up/follow-through skills. You will need strong drive, a sense of ownership and the ability to achieve goals independently. At the same time, we'll look to you to be a team player, willing to support the Branch Manager and help other sales team members.

Another challenge for our new salespeople is gaining product knowledge and understanding the application of the products. Your construction background will be invaluable, but you'll also strong learning acumen and a commitment to getting up to speed quickly. Some products are rarely used, so when you have the opportunity -- in the beginning and ongoing -- to see a presentation, you'll need to take advantage of it.

You should expect to spend time at construction sites, rain or shine, not only to call on prospects but sometimes also to demonstrate equipment. This will include wearing boots and a hard hat, and you can't be afraid to get them dirty.
